Everyone is always asking for the recipes of different items have served in the past.
One of the easiest things to make is the HOOSIER WRAP and the recipe lends itself to just about any ingredients you have on hand. Just think of the wrap as a chef salad in a shell. I like to cook a few chicken breasts at the beginning of the week - just to have on hand. But, I've used a variety of different meats and cheeses with success. However, everyone seems to like the following combination.
Heat a griddle (or likewise pan which will allow the surface of the tortilla shellto heat in an even manner). Place tortilla shells on griddle with about a 1/3 cup of shredded cheese. Heat until cheese has just begun to melt moving shell over the griddle to distribute the heat evenly and prevent and sticking. Add chicken and ham to the center of the shell and heat for about 30 seconds more (NOTE: If meat is very cold, sear on the griddle to remove chill before adding to tortilla).
Remove from griddle and place tortilla shell on plate. Add lettuce and tomato over meats. Add a liberal amount of ranch over the top of the meats and veggies. Wrap up folding the sides in first and then end over end. Cut on the bias and waalaa!
